PLAYERS TO WATCH:
OUTLOOK: : Lakeland and Haines City meet in an early 5-7A clash to see who's going to grab the lead.
The Hornets lost a tough opener to Winter Haven, falling 31-28. Lakeland dispatched the Blue Devils in week 2 - 28-7.
Haines City has won its last two games by a combined score of 106-0 and has a high-powered offense. Just what the Dreadnaught defense likes to hear.
Lakeland is all about defense, using DB Trey Threatt and company to shut down the opposing offense. The 'Naughts have allowed a total of 28 points in three games.
This is an old-school rivalry game where pride and a top spot in the district is on the line.
Look for playmaker Derwin James - a Florida State commit - to be the all over the field for the Hornets.
