It was on a night that the community of Navarre retired the jersey of Ian Lockwood, who succumbed to brain cancer in 2011. It was a night where the Raiders would face adversity from a talented Choctaw team.
And it ended up being a night the Raiders would rally back to defeat the Indians to claim the district title. 35-28 over Choctawhatchee.
Navarre would find themselves down 28-7, as Quint Gorno would hit Garrison Floyd on a 47 yard screen pass for a score, score on a three yard run, pass for another touchdown to Perry Gatling, and have a contribution from John Hicks on a four yard touchdown run.
Then the second half would come as the Raiders would score 28 unanswered points behind Matthew Webb's two touchdown receptions and one rushing TD from 34 yards out. Gatlin Casey would score the go ahead 5 yard touchdown run to get the win for the Raiders.
It's back to back district titles for the Raiders.
