District Scenarios - Week 10Class 1B District 1 Jefferson County (4-0) wrapped up the district with a win over FAMU (2-1) last week. FAMU can wrap up the other playoff spot with win over Rocky Bayou this week. District 2 Lafayette (6-1) knocked off Arlington Country Day (6-1). ACD must defeat Hawthorne (7-0) to set up a three way shootout as Hawthorne (7-1), Lafayette (7-1) and ACD (7-1) would all be tied. Otherwise, Hawthorne and Lafayette would be your champion and runner-up. District 3 Warner Christian (4-0) and Florida Air (4-0) meet this week to settle everything. Winner wins title, loser is runner-up. District 4 Pine Castle (5-0) is the district champion, Agape (5-1) clinched the runner-up spot by beating Central Florida Christian Saturday. District 5 Victory Christian (5-0) clinched the district by beating previously undefeated Admiral Farragut (5-1) last week, making Farragut the runner-up. District 6 Out of Door (4-0) clinched the district last week with a win over Moorehaven. Evangelical Christian (3-1) knocked off Bradenton Christian (2-2) to take over second place. Evangelical Christian can wrap up the runner-up spot with a either a win over Newman (1-3) or an Out of Door win over St. Stephens (2-2). Bradenton Christian needs a lot of help to force a shootout, starting with a win over Moorehaven (0-4) followed by a St. Stephens win over Out of Door and Newman win over Evangelical Christian. District 7 Jupiter Christian (3-0) is the district champion, Glades Day (2-1) is the runner-up. District 8 McArthur (4-0) is the district champion, Sheridan Hills (3-1) is the runner-up. Class 1A District 1 Freeport (7-0) is the district champion, South Walton (6-1) is the runner-up. District 2 Port St Joe (3-1) needs to beat Wewahitchka to secure at least a district shootout berth, while Blountstown (4-0) plays Liberty County (3-1) this week which will decide the district. A Blountstown win makes them the district champion and Port St. Joe the runner-up. A Liberty County win would set up a three way shootout for both playoff spots. District 3 Trinity (4-0) wrapped up the district with back-to-back wins over NFC and Providence the last two weeks. NFC (3-1) and Providence (3-1) meet this week to decide the runner-up, the loser is eliminated from the playoffs. District 4 Melbourne Central Catholic (6-0) is the district champion; while Crescent City (4-1), John Carroll (3-2) and Holy Trinity (3-2) are battling for the remaining runner-up spot. Crescent City can clinch the runner-up spot with a win at home this week over John Carroll. Holy Trinity needs to beat Trinity Prep and hope John Carroll knocks off Crescent City, which would set up a three team district runner-up shootout between Crescent City, John Carroll and Holy Trinity. John Carroll can wrap up second place with a win over Crescent City and a Trinity Prep win over Holy Trinity. District 5 Dixie County (6-0) wrapped up the district title two weeks ago. Wildwood (4-1), Villages (3-2), and Hilliard (3-2) are all battling for the final spot. Wildwood can wrap up the runner-up spot with wins over Villages. If Wildwood loses to Villages, Villages is the runner-up unless Hilliard knocks off Chiefland, creating a shootout to settle the runner-up spot between Wildwood, Villages and Hilliard. District 6 Fort Meade (3-0) can wrap up the district title with a win over Clearwater Central Catholic (2-1) this week. A CCC loss coupled with a Berkley win over Indians Rocks would make Berkley (2-1) the runner-up. A CCC loss coupled with an Indian Rocks win would set up a three way shootout between CCC, Berkley and Indian Rocks for the runner-up spot. A Fort Meade loss opens the door for a shootout between Fort Meade, Berkley and CCC to settle both playoff spots. District 7 American Heritage (4-0) and Calvary Christian (4-0) meet this week to settle the district champion and runner-up spots. District 8 Parkway (6-0) is the district champion, Westminister (4-1) meets Marathon (3-2) this week with a chance to claim the runner-up spot. A Marathon win coupled with a Dade Christian win over Curley (1-4) would set up a three way shootout between Westminister, Marathon and Dade Christian for the final runner-up spot. A Marathon win along with a Curley win would give Marathon the runner-up berth. Class 2B District 1 Pensacola Catholic (2-0) and Chipley (1-1) meet this week in a winner take all game with the winner winning the district. A Chipley loss would force a shootout with Chipley, Marianna (1-2) and Walton (1-2) for the runner-up spot. District 2 Taylor County (4-0) and Florida High (3-1) meet this week in a winner take all game with the winner winning the district, the loser the runner-up. District 3 Bolles (6-0) wrapped up its 17th consecutive district title with a win over Episcopal last week. Episcopal (4-1) meets West Nassau (4-1) this week for the runner-up spot. District 4 Trinity Catholic (4-0) can wrap up the district with a win over Mount Dora (3-1). Newberry (3-1) and Williston (2-2) meet in the other big game this week. Mount Dora can win the district with a win and a Williston win over Newberry, which would make Trinity Catholic the runner-up. A Trinity Catholic win, coupled with a Newberry win would make Newberry the runner-up. A Trinity win and a Williston win would force a shootout between Mount Dora, Newberry and Williston for the final playoff spot. District 5 Tampa Catholic (3-0) is the district champion, Lake Highland Prep (3-1) is the runner-up. District 6 What a mess with four teams, Dunbar (3-1), Island Coast (3-1), Clewiston (3-1) and Lake Placid (2-2) all still in the mix. Dunbar and Clewiston meet up, Lake Placid meets Gateway (0-4) while Island Coast meets Labelle (1-3). Clewiston can win the district with a win over Dunbar, Island Coast would be the runner-up with a win. A Dunbar win coupled with a Island Coast win, would give Island Coast the district title and make Dunbar the runner-up. A Lake Placid win followed by a Labelle win over Island Coast would force a three way shootout between Lake Placid, Island Coast and the loser of Clewiston/Dunbar game for the runner-up spot. District 7 Pahokee (5-0) is in control and can wrap up the district with a win over University. North Broward (4-1) can claim the runner-up spot with wins over Coral Springs if Pahokee beats University. University (4-1) must beat Pahokee to force a three way shootout between Pahokee, North Broward and University for both playoff spots. District 8 Chaminade (6-0) wrapped up the district, the winner of the Pace (5-1) and Gulliver (5-1) game secures the runner-up spot. Class 2A District 1 Godby (1-0) can clinch the district with a win over Rickards; if that happens Madison County (1-1) is your runner-up. If Rickards (0-1) knocks off Godby then it's a three way shootout for both playoff spots. District 2 Raines (4-0) travels to Ribault (3-1) Saturday afternoon while Baker County (3-1) travels to Santa Fe (1-3) Friday night in games that will decide the district. A Baker County win sets up an interesting game Saturday. A Raines win clinches the district title and makes Baker County the runner-up; A Ribault win would force a three way shootout between Raines, Ribault and Baker County for both playoff spots. A Baker County loss would make the Raines-Ribault game for both playoff spots. District 3 Cocoa (5-0) is in total control and can clinch the district with a win Rockledge. An Astronaut (4-1) win over Space Coast coupled with a Rockledge (4-1) win would force a shootout for both playoff spots between Cocoa, Astronaut and Rockledge. District 4 Bishop Moore (2-0) needs to beat Jones (1-1) to secure the district, a Frostproof (1-1) win over South Sumter (0-2) would make Frostproof the runner-up. A Jones win coupled with a Frostproof win would force a shootout between Jones, Bishop Moore and Frostproof for both playoff spots. A South Sumter win, coupled with a Bishop Moore win would force a shootout for the runner-up spot between Jones, Frostproof and South Sumter. A South Sumter win coupled with a Jones win would make Jones the district champion and Bishop Moore the runner-up. District 5 Robinson (5-0) is the district champion, Jesuit (4-1) meets St. Pete Catholic (3-2) and can wrap up the runner-up spot. A St. Pete Catholic win would force a three way shootout between Jesuit, SPC and Middleton (4-2) for the runner-up spot. District 6 Simple, winner of Desoto (2-0) vs Hardee County (2-0), the state's oldest rivalry wins the district, the loser is the runner-up. District 7 Glades Central (1-0) meets Suncoast (0-1), a Central win locks up the district and gives Boyton Beach (1-1) the runner-up spot. A Suncoast win would force a three way shootout for both playoff spots. District 8 American Heritage (2-0) and Cardinal Gibbons (2-0) meet to settle the district, the winner claims the district, the loser is the runnerup. Class 3A District 1 Pensacola (6-0) is the district champ, Choctaw (5-1) clinched the runner-up. District 2 Jackson (3-0) and Bishop Kenny (3-) meet to decide the district and the runner-up spots. District 3 Clay (3-0) is in control and can clinch the district with a win over Nease (2-1). A Nease win coupled with a Bartram Trail (2-1) win over Creekside (1-2) forces a shootout between Clay, Nease and Bartram Trail. A Clay win and Creekside win, would force a shootout between Creekside, Bartram Trail and Nease for the runner-up spot. A Clay win and Bartram Trail win would give Clay the title, and make Bartram Trail the runner-up. A Nease win and Creekside win would make Nease the district champion, Clay the runner-up. District 4 St. Augustine (2-0) is the district champion, Matanzas (1-1) and Menendez (1-1) meet to decide the runner-up spot. District 5 North Marion (2-0) can claim the title with a win over Eastside (1-1), Vanguard (1-1) can clinch the runner up berth with a win over Belleview (0-2). If Eastside knocks off North Marion and Vanguard beats Belleview, a shootout would be needed to decide both playoff spots. If Eastside knocks off North Marion and Belleview wins, Eastside wins the district and North Marion is the runner-up. If North Marion wins and Belleview wins, North Marion is the district champ and a shootout between Eastside, Belleview and Vanguard would be played to decide runner-up. District 6 Dunnellon (6-0) is the district champion, while Hernando (5-1) and Nature Coast (4-2) meet to likely decide the runner up spot. Crystal River (4-2) plays Tavares and could force a shootout between Hernando, Nature Coast and Crystal River if Nature Coast knocks off Hernando. District 7 Pasco (6-0) is the district champion, while Mitchell (5-1) and Land O'Lakes (5-1) play this week to settle the runner-up spot. District 8 Jefferson (4-0) is the district champion, while Spoto (3-1) and Lakewood (3-1) meet to decide the runner-up spot. District 9 Winter Haven (5-0) is the district champion, while Lake Wales (4-1) and Auburndale (3-2) meet with the winner likely claiming the runner up spot, although Sebring (3-2) could force a shootout if they beat Tenorac and Auburdale wins. District 10 Southeast (3-0) can win the district with a win over Bayshore (2-1). Braden River (2-1) plays Lemon Bay (0-3). Southeast and Braden River wins make Southeast the champion and Braden River the runner-up. Southeast and Lemon Bay wins make Southeast the champion and Braden River the champion. Bayshore and Braden River wins forces a three team shootout to decide both playoff spots. Bayshore and Lemon Bay wins make Bayshore the champion and Southeast the runner-up. District 11 Riverdale (4-0) is the district champion and South Fort Myers (3-1) is the runner-up. District 12 Lely (4-1), Collier (4-1), and Lehigh (4-1) are all still in the mix. Lely and Collier meet this week while Lehigh meets Cypress Lake (0-5). If Cypress Lake upsets Lehigh, the winner of the Lely vs. Collier game is the champion, the loser is the runner-up. If Lehigh wins, a Collier win gives Collier the title and Lehigh the runner-up; a Lely win makes Lehigh the champion and Lely the runner-up. District 13 Merritt Island (3-0) and Jensen Beach (2-1) meet in a showdown, while Westwood (2-1) plays Eau Gallie (0-3). Merritt Island can win the district with a win, Westwood would be the runner-up. A Jensen Beach win would possibly set up a shootout between Merritt Island, Jensen Beach and Westwood providing Westwood beats Eau Gallie. Jensen Beach win coupled with a Westwood loss makes Jensen the district champion and Merritt Island the runner-up. District 14 McCarthy (3-0) is the district champion, while if Olympic Heights (2-1) beats Fort Lauderdale (1-2) they are the runner-up. A Fort Lauderdale win would force a three way shootout between Fort Lauderdale, Olympic Heights and Pembroke Pines (2-2) for the runner-up spot. District 15 Belen Jesuit (3-0) is the district champion, Norland (2-1) and Mater Academy (2-1) meet to decide the runner-up. District 16 Booker T (2-0) is your district champion, Jackson (1-1) and Key West (1-1) meet to decide the runner up berth. Class 4A District 1 Pine Forest (4-0) is the district champion, while Pace (3-1) and Milton (2-2) meet to decide the likely runner-up spot. A Pace win clinches the runner-up spot, a Milton win coupled with a Tate (2-2) win over Navarre would create a shootout for Pace, Milton and Tate. District 2 Niceville (2-0) and Crestview (1-1) are likely on a collision course in a winner take all meeting. Fort Walton Beach (1-1) plays Mosley (0-2), a FWB win could put the Vikings in the runner up spot if Niceville beats Crestview. A Crestview win would force a three way shootout to decide both spots. A Niceville win coupled with a Mosley win over FWB, gives Niceville the district title and means Crestview, FWB and Pace would all play a shootout to decide second place. District 3 Lincoln (2-0) clinched the district, Leon (1-1) plays Wakulla (1-1) for the runner up spot. District 4 Columbia (3-0) won the district, Ed White (3-1) is the runner-up. District 5 Lake Weir (4-0) and Gainesville (4-0) meet to decide both playoff spots. District 6 Tarpon Springs (4-0) won the district, Hudson (2-1) and Wiregrass Ranch (2-1) meet to decide the second playoff spot. District 7 Edgewater (4-0) clinched the district, Harmony (3-1) and St. Cloud (3-1) meet to decide the second spot. District 8 Due to Kathleen having to forfeit six wins, Haines City, which now gets a win over Kathleen, moves to 3-1 in the district with one district game remaining will now likely be the runner-up behind Lake Gibson. District 9 Armwood (2-0) is the district champion with a win over East Bay (1-1). An East Bay win coupled with a Hillsborough (1-1) win over King (1-1) would force a shootout to decide both spots. Otherwise, Armwood is the district champ and the winner of Hillsborough vs. King is the runner up. District 10 Largo (3-0) clinched the district last week, Sickles (2-1) is the runner up. District 11 Charlotte (2-0) clinched the district, Lakewood Ranch (1-1) and Palmetto (1-1) meet to decide the runner up. District 12 Cape Coral (2-0) and Ida Baker (2-0) meet to decide the title. District 13 New Smyrna Beach (1-0) can clinch the district with a win over Viera (0-1). If Viera wins, it would force a three way shootout between New Smyrna Beach, Viera and Palm Bay to decide both spots. District 14 South Fork and Central meet to decide both playoff spots. District 15 Dwyer won the district, PB Lakes and Okeechobee meet to decide the second spot. District 16 Stranahan won the district, Hollwood Hills and Forest Hill meet to decide second placel game. Class 5A District 1 First Coast (2-0) and Fletcher (2-0) meet to decide both playoff spots. District 2 Fleming Island (1-0) can win the district with a win over Palm Coast (0-1). If Fleming Island wins, they are the district champion and Seabreeze (1-1) is the runner up. If Palm Coast wins, a three way shootout would be played to decide both spots. District 3 Despite being 3-5 overall, Winter Springs (3-0) and Oviedo meet in a winner take all game to decide both playoff spots. District 4 Lakeland (1-0) meets Jenkins (0-1) to decide the district. A Lakeland win gives them the title and Osceola (1-1) the runner up berth. A Jenkins win would force a shootout between all three teams for all three spots. District 5 If Plant (2-0) beats Chamberlain (1-1) and Alonzo (1-1) beats Gaither (0-2); Plant is the district champion and Alonzo is the runner up. If Chamberlain wins and Alonzo wins it would force a three way shootout for both playoff spots. If Chamberlain wins and Gaither wins, Chamberlain is the champion and Plant is the runner up. If Plant wins and Gaither upsets Alonzo, Plant is the champion and Chamberlain, Alonzo and Jesuit would have a shootout to decide the runner up spot. District 6 Durant (2-1), Newsome (3-0) and Plant City (3-1) all are still in the race. Durant and Newsome play, a Newsome win clinches the district, a Durant win forces a three way shootout to decide both playoff spots. District 7 Tampa Bay Tech (2-0) can win the district with a win over Wharton (1-1). Freedom (1-1) plays Brandon (0-2) and can clinch the runner up spot with a win and TBT win over Wharton. If Brandon upsets Freedom and TBT beats Wharton, a three way shootout would be played to decide runner up spot between Freedom, Brandon and Wharton. District 8 Countryside (4-0) won the district, Dunedin (1-2) and East Lake (2-1) meet this week. An East Lake win would wrap up the runner-up spot. A Dunedin win coupled with a Palm Harbor win over Clearwater would create a three way shootout to decide the final playoff spot between Dunedin, Palm Harbor and East Lake. District 9 Gibbs (3-0) clinched the district title, while St. Pete (1-1) meets Pinellas Park (1-1) in a game which will decide the runner-up spot. District 10 Venice (4-0) clinched the district, while Manatee (2-1) is the runner-up. District 11 Melbourne (1-0) and Bayside (1-0) meet to decide the district and runner-up spot. District 12 Royal Palm Beach (2-0) can win the district with a win over Santaluces (1-1). Lake Worth (1-1) can wrap up second with a win over Leonard (0-2) and a Royal Palm Beach win. A Santaluces win and a Lake Worth win sets up a shootout for both playoff spots. A Royal Palm Beach and Leonard win set up a shootout between Santaluces, Lake Worth and Leonard for the runner-up spot. District 13 West Boca won the district, Wellington (1-1) is the runner-up. District 14 Ely (1-0) can win the district with a win over Dillard (0-1) Nov. 7 , Boyd Anderson (1-1) would be your runner-up. A Dillard win would force a three way shootout between all three teams for both spots. District 15 Coconut Creek (3-0) plays Coral Glades (2-1), while Coral Springs (2-1) meets Cooper City (0-3). A Coconut Creek win gives them the district and Coral Springs the runner-up spot providing they can beat Cooper City. A Coral Glades win would set up a shootout between Coconut Creek, Coral Glades and Coral Springs for both spots. District 16 Aquinas (2-0) and South Broward (2-0) meet to decide both playoff spots. Class 6A District 1 1. Orange Park (2-0) can clinch the district with a win over Ocala Forest (1-1), Sandalwood (1-1) can clinch the runnerup spot with a win over Mandarin (0-2). 2. If Forest (2-1) beats OP (2-1), Sandalwood (2-1) beats Mandarin, three way shootout would be needed to decide both playoff spots between OP, Sandalwood and Forest. 3. If Forest (2-1) beats OP (2-1), Mandarin (1-2) beats Sandalwood (1-2), Forest is the district champion and OP is runner up. 4. If OP (3-0) beats Forest (1-2), Mandarin (1-2) beats Sandalwood (1-2), OP is your district champ, a shootout would be needed to decide runnerup between Forest, Sandalwood and Mandarin. District 2 Mainland (3-0) and Deland (3-0) meet to decide both playoff spots. District 3 Seminole (2-0) can claim the title with a win over Lyman (1-1). Lake Brantley (1-1) meets Lake Mary (0-2) the same day and can wrap up the runner up spot with a win. Seminole and Lake Mary wins would force a three way shootout between Lyman, Lake Mary and Lake Brantley for the runner up spot. Lyman and Lake Brantley wins would also set up three way shootout between Seminole, Lyman and Seminole. Lyman and Lake Mary wins would give Lyman the district title and Seminole the runner-up. District 4 Barring upsets, Winter Park (6-1, 2-0) is the champ and Timber Creek (4-3, 1-1) is the runner-up. But they'll have to take care of business on Nov. 6. The Wildcats complete district play at Colonial (1-7, 1-1) that night and Timber Creek plays at University (2-6, 0-2). District 5 Olympia (5-0) stunned Apopka last week and clinched the district. Apopka (4-1), East Ridge (3-2) and Ocoee (3-2) are battling for the runner-up spot. Apopka plays at Ocoee and Olympia plays at East Ridge. An Apopka win clinches the runner-up spot, while an Ocoee win plus East Ridge win would force a three way shootout. An Ocoee win plus Olympia win would make Ocoee the runner-up. District 6 Dr. Phillips (4-0) is the district champion, Boone (3-1), Cypress Creek (2-2) and Freedom (2-2) are all battling for the final spot. Freedom must beat Dr. Phillips to stay alive temporarily. Boone will be runner-up if it wins at Cypress Creek. Creek will place second if it beats Boone and DP wins against Freedom. If Creek and Freedom prevail it forces a three-way tiebreaker for Monday, Nov. 9, involving Boone, Cypress Creek and Freedom. District 7 Treasure Coast (3-0) is the district champion and Vero Beach (3-1) is the runner-up. District 8 Boca Raton (3-0) meets Park Vista (2-1), while Atlantic (1-2) meets Centennial (0-3). A Boca Raton win clinches the district and would set up a three way shootout between Park Vista, Atlantic and Seminole Ridge (2-2) for the runner-up spot. A Park Vista win gives them the district and makes Boca Raton the runner-up. District 9 Deerfield Beach (2-0) can win the title with a win over Douglas (1-1). With a win by Deerfield, Northeast (1-1) can clinch the runner-up spot with win over Taravella. Douglas can force a shootout with a win over Deerfield and a Northeast win over Taravella. District 10 Miramar (4-0) is the district champ, while Plantation (2-1) and South Plantation (1-2) to decide second place. A Plantation win wraps up second place, a South Plantation win coupled with a Western (1-2) win over Piper (0-3) would create a shootout between Plantation, South Plantation and Western for the runner-up spot. District 11 Cypress Bay (2-0) and Everglades (2-0) meet to decide the district. District 12 Carol City (4-0) won the district, Krop (3-1), North Miami (2-2) and American (2-2) all remain in the chase for the runner-up spot. Krop can wrap up second place with a win over North Miami, while a North Miami win coupled with a American win over Goleman (0-4) would force a shootout between Krop, North Miami and American. A North Miami win coupled with a American loss would give North Miami the runner-up spot. District 13 Northwestern (4-0) is the district champion, Central (3-1) is the runner-up. District 14 Columbus (4-0) clinched the district, Coral Gables (3-1) can clinch the runner-up berth with a win over South Miami (2-2). A South Miami win would create a shootout between South Miami, Coral Cables and Miami Senior (2-2) for the runner-up spot. District 15 Ferguson (3-0) can win it with a win over Varella (2-1), making Sunset (2-1) providing they beat Braddock (0-3) the runner-up. A Varella win coupled with a Sunset win would create a shootout between Ferguson, Varella and Sunset for both playoff spots. District 16 Southridge (4-0) clinched the district, while South Dade (3-1) can clinch the runner-up spot with a win over Homestead (2-2) this week. A Homestead win coupled with a Palmetto (2-2) win over Killian (1-3) would set up a Homestead, Palmetto and South Dade shootout for the runner-up spot. |
