Missouri pursuing Midwest City duo

Missouri has a history of unearthing talent in Midwest City, Okla., and this year is no different. In 2001, the Tigers swooped in and grabbed offensive lineman Tony Palmer from Midwest City, and in 2003, they brought in a slim, linebacker version of Lorenzo Williams.

Both went on to have big impacts in Columbia, with Palmer becoming entrenched as an offensive guard and Williams leading Missouri to a Big 12 North title in 2007 as a stand-out defensive tackle.
