Lee adding offers
Jefferson, Texas defensive end Clarence Lee is one of the fastest rising prospects in east Texas. The all-district performer has recorded 14 sacks in his junior and senior seasons and totaled 169 tackles along the way.
Lee currently has two offers on the table from Louisiana Tech and Houston and is getting interest from several others.
"Louisiana Tech and Houston have offered," he said. "It's been a couple of weeks for Louisiana Tech and Houston offered last Friday. A&M, Baylor and TCU are still showing a lot of interest. They said they're going to continue to evaluate."
Lee says is open to every school at the moment and doesn't have a school that is leading the pack just yet.
"I'm just open to everyone," he said. "I went to Louisiana Tech about a week ago. It was fun, I liked it. I'm going to make a trip to Houston sometime this week."
Lee had plans to see TCU up close about a month ago but he had to help Jefferson's basketball team in the state playoffs. The 6-foot-4, 210-pounder says the Frogs are definitely a team he has an interest in.
"Yes sir, I have an interest," he said. "I've watched them play a lot. They have a couple of players that I use to watch play from around the area, Stephen Hodge and Clarence Leatch. They have a real nice program but I want to see it for myself."
In addition to seeing Houston sometime this week, Lee says he hopes to take unofficial visits to other campuses over the summer.
