Parr told FlaVarsity that the Marshall offense intrigues him.
"The Marshall coaches were telling me how productive their offense was last season and a little about their philosophy. It's a spread, up-tempo offense."
New FAU head coach Charlie Partridge told Parr his goal is to recruit the surrounding area hard, placing an emphasis on Palm Beach County and Dwyer High School.
"Coach Partridge told me he's recruiting South Florida hard because there's so much talent down here. Coach also said he's going to take some players that the bigger programs won't."
Another in-state program is beginning to show interest. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound signal-caller attended Junior Day at Florida last weekend.
The South Florida Bulls are showing the junior prospect some interest as well.
"I haven't had any direct contact with the USF staff, but I receive a lot of mail from them," Parr said. "Honestly, I don't know that much about them. They had a rough season last year, but I think USF is a program on the rise."
West Virginia is program that he hasn't heard from but would like to.
"My family is from that area and I like their offense." Parr talked about what he's working on to improve his overall game.
"Breaking down and watching film is something I'm perfecting now. I'm working to pick up defensive schemes, too. I'm also working on my scrambling, being able to make plays with my feet outside of the pocket and throwing on the run."
Dwyer's returning quarterback said he'd like to pick up a few ACC and SEC offers.
"I just have to keep working hard, be a leader, and continue to perform at high level to show I belong at one of those programs."
