FlaVarsity Top100 Countdown: 71-80
80. Javarius Davis - Ed White - ATH
Davis committed to North Carolina in June after their prospect camp. He's still open on the recruiting front however, and holds a big in state offer from the Florida Gators. He's ranked as the 45th best athlete in the country, and his game can be summed up in one word - fast. Davis is a trackstar and it translates well to the gridiron.
79. Chandler Cox - Apopka - FB
Cox is one of the best fullbacks in the country and Rivals.com has him as the second best there is. He is a very solid commit to Auburn and has been actively recruiting for the Tigers. Cox and his Apopka squad lost to South Dade in the class 8A state finals last year, but hope to take home the title in Orlando this December.
78. Shi'Kim Coward - Niceville - RB
Coward was poised for a big year in 2013, but suffered an ACL injury that knocked him out for the remainder of the season. He's a warrior though and he's primed to make some noise for the Eagles, who lost in the 7A state finals against Dwyer last December. Many schools across the country are in wait-and-see mode to see how Coward recovers, but we're convinced he'll have a breakout senior season.
77. Jake Bargas - St. Andrews School - TE
Bargas was committed to play lacrosse at Michigan last year, but blew up in his recruitment over the spring evaluation period. He decided to focus on football though and committed to Wake Forest in June over the likes of Duke, Louisville, Kentucky.
76. Alex Anderson - Miramar - RB
West Virginia has a big pipeline to Miramar. The Mountaineers have four commitments from Miramar, including Anderson, and four-star prospects Jovon Durante and Kendrell McFadden. Anderson had been long leaning towards West Virginia in his recruitment, and made his commitment official in May as spring football got underway.
75. Sekai Lindsay - Palm Bay - RB
Lindsay is a little bit shorter than the typical running back, but makes up for it with a strong lower body and good speed. He hits the whole hard, and once he gets to the second level, he's tough to chase down. Lindsay is committed to Pittsburgh.
74. Bowman Archibald - Pasco - TE
Archibald had several offers as the year turned to 2014, but picked up some big offers in February, including Alabama. Bowman was very high on Auburn, but after he visited Miami in March, he knew he wanted to be a Cane and committed two days later. He has already signed a grant-in-aid agreement with Miami and is locked in with the Hurricanes.
73. Deontai Williams - Trinity Christian - DB
Williams is just one piece of a very talented Trinity Christian defense. Their secondary has four defensive backs headed to BCS colleges. Williams was originally committed to Florida, but flipped his commitment to Georgia. Rivals.com has Williams listed as the 35th best safety in the country.
72. Sam Franklin - Citrus - WR
Franklin has size you want as an outside receiver as he stands at 6-foot-2, 194-pounds. He was also clocked at a 4.48 forty-yard dash. Franklin holds offers from Cincinnati, Indiana, and Kentucky.
71. Christian Philpott - North Florida Christian - WR
Philpott went from underrated on the recruiting front to a big time recruit. He landed offers from the likes of Louisville, Ole Miss, Penn State, and others. He committed to Georgia Tech in June as he hopes to the Yellow Jackets' primary passing target in the triple option attack.
