Atlantic Coast improved to a best-ever 4-0 record with a 36-20 district win over Oakleaf (2-2).
It took until the first play of the second quarter for an offense to score, but the floodgates opened after that.

Four seconds into the second quarter, Johnson ran behind his offensive line for a one-yard touchdown run to tie the game at seven.
Five minutes later, Atlantic Coast scored a safety, when the snapped punt went over Exavier Lewis' head and out of the endzone, giving the Stingarays a 9-7 lead.
One play later, the Stingrays went up 16-7. Ryan McFarlin connected with Senior Tight End Tim Davis for a 55-yard touchdown catch and run.
Johnson and the Knights came right back - as Johnson hit J.C. Flowers for a 65-yard touchdown pass, cutting the score to 16-14.
With 2:38 to go in the half, Stingrays QB McFarlin found another tight end- sophomore Chris Cunningham from 10 yards out for his second touchdown pass of the night. The Stingrays led 22-10 after the failed two-point conversion.
Oakleaf cut the lead to five at the half on a 20-yard field goal by Lewis.
In the second half, Stingrays running back Terry Bennett scored on a five-yard run. Atlantic Coast started the drive inside the Knights' 10 after another snap went over Lewis' head. That score put Atlantic Coast up 29-17 with 5:44 left in the third quarter.
Less than two minutes into the fourth, Lewis connected on a 23-yard field goal for Oakleaf's final points of the game.
The Stingrays were credited with the final score of the game, when Davis caught his second touchdown pass of the game, this one from 17 yards out.
