Avenging Eagles: Niceville preys on Tate 39-3.

Last Friday, Niceville avenged last year's season ending playoff lose to Tate with a 39-3 blowout victory at Eagle Stadium. Thanks to Niceville videographer Shawn Yabui, FlaVarsity has some visual evidence of the Eagles' dominance.

Niceville's quarterback, 6-foot-6, 212-pound Jeff Toney, was the star of the game as he completed 11 of his 15 throws en route to 381 yards and four touchdowns, in the first half.

2018 athlete Junayeh Thomas racked up 133 yards receiving on three catches, including an 80-yard score and 6-foot-2, 185-pound senior Codey Christopher also pulled in an explosive 70-yard touchdown of his own.

Senior running back Deonte Sheffield paced the Eagles' ground game with 86-yards rushing on 8 carries and one touchdown, and hauled in two passes for 57-yards and a touchdown.

Most of this damage was done in the first half before the running clock took effect.

Niceville is now 5-0 on the season. They will take on the 2-3 Fort Walton Beach Vikings in the friendly confines of Eagle Stadium this Friday, September 30th, at 7:00pm.
