Coconut Creek, or as they're known on Twitter as the #CreekBoyz, have big summer visit plans over the next week. The Cougars are visiting a more local school in FAU on Monday, but then hit the road.
They're heading north to camp at Cincinnati on Wednesday and will visit Louisville on the same day. Thursday, they'll head to Kentucky for a visit and then head to Tennessee for a camp later on in the day. On Saturday, the Cougars will visit Clemson and South Carolina. Sunday will conclude the busy week with a visit to Georgia Southern.
"My players are excited to hit the road to all of these schools honestly," Coconut Creek head coach Kareem Reid told FlaVarsity.com. "I think Tennessee is one that they are really looking forward to and probably Auburn if we're able to swing it and get by there."
Jhakari Harrison, Malek Young
Emmanuel Greene, Binjimen Victor,
Korron Rozier,
Woodly Sully,
Trayvon Mullen,
Alexy Jean-Baptiste,
and James Charles are the Coconut Creek athletes that will be making the road trip.
The Cougars squad will also check out Florida State, Auburn, and Alabama after the Rivals Underclassmen Challenge in Jacksonville, Florida.
"In July we're tentatively scheduled to visit FSU and Alabama," Reid said. "Malek Young has been to FSU already but I know he's excited about going back up there with an offer. Binjimen Victor really wants to see Bama and so do I. I have a few ties to that program so that should be a fun trip as well."
Wednesday and Thursday Reid and his players will visit the Bluegrass state to check out the Cards and the Cats, who have both recruited his players hard.
"Kentucky was the first to offer Trayvon Mullen and (Kentucky coach) Derrick Ansley has done a good job recruiting our kids," Reid explained. "They're excited to hang out with him and see what UK has to offer. Louisville just got into the mix with our elite kids but we're going to stop by there and check them out. Terrell Buckley (Louisville's defensive backs coach) is super high on Mullen, Young and Victor."
