After starting the year with one five star (Sony Michel), the state of Florida ended the season with five.
West Palm Beach Cardinal Newman WR Travis Rudolph is the highest rated five-star, checking in at No. 11 in the Rivals250 Presented by UnderArmour. Rudolph had a very strong performance at the Under Armour All-American game and committed to Florida State.
Michel, previously ranked in the top ten of the pre-season Rivals250, dropped to No. 13. The Georgia commit led his American Heritage-Plantation team to the 5A state championship.
Miami Central RB Dalvin Cook - also an FSU commit - leaped into the top 15 with a super senior season and a standout post-season All-star showing. Cook went from 22nd to 18th in the latest rankings.
Miami Booker T. Washington DE Chad Thomas, a Miami commit, was not in the Rivals100 pre-season rankings, but he's there now - and in a big way. Thomas checks in at No. 22 and earned a fifth star. Thomas was virtually unblockable at the UnderArmour All American practices.
Homestead WR Ermon Lane moved from 29th pre-season to 28th final ranking, but did earn a fifth star. Lane recently decommitted from Florida and is reportedly leaning towards Florida State
Thirty-four Floridians made the pre-season Rivals250 in February - 37 made the final listing.
