Pensacola Catholic Inside linebacker Delvin Purifoy is committed to Florida State, but told Rivals.com Senior Analyst Mike Farrell that there were some other schools making it interesting.
A leader on the Catholic football team that gave Class 3A state runner-up Madison County all it could handle - twice - Purifoy is a force in the middle for the Crusaders.
His pursuit speed (4.7 40) and quick hands allows him to shed blockers and make big plays.
Purifoy made 117 tackles last year.
