Continuing our countdown of the top 50 players in the state of Florida for the class of 2014, here's Number 29.
Miami Booker T. Washington weakside defensive end Chad Thomas checks in at No. 29 in the FlaVarsity100 Class of 2014.
Thomas is a 6-foot-5, 229 pound Rivals four-star, ranked as the 11th best defensive end in the country. He's committed to Miami.
"He's a guy that can rush the passer and can stop the run," said Rivals Analyst Kynon Codrington. "He comes off the ball with great explosiveness. He doesn't come off too high. He has great speed off the ball."
Thomas played on the Tornado football team that has been dominant in 4A, making two straight trips to the State finals - winning last year 35-0 over Jacksonville Bolles.
