Continuing our countdown of the top 50 players in the state of Florida for the class of 2014, here's Number 31.
We've talked about all of the cover corners in the FlaVarsity100, but one of the best wide receivers is Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas WR Corey Holmes.
Holmes, a 6-foot-2, 174 pound speedy receiver for the Raiders, verbally committed to Notre Dame about a month ago.
Holmes is the 31st highest ranked receiver in the country, and steps into the Rivals250 at 228.
Holmes helped the Raiders knock off then-No.1 Manatee last year, en route to the 7A state title victory over Tallahassee Lincoln.
Rivals Analyst Kynon Codrington says that Holmes is a 'tremendous skill player with elite speed."
Holmes ran a laser-timed 4.48 40. He has big-play potential and soft hands.
