Continuing our countdown of the top 50 players in the state of Florida for the class of 2014, here's Number 41.
This year is the year of the cornerback in the state of Florida. At no. 41 in our countdown is recent Florida Gators commit, Plantation High School's Chris Lammons.
Lammons is the 26th ranked DB in the country, and the third straight corner in the rankings that we've discussed.
At 5-foot-10, 170 pounds, he may be a bit on the light side, but his speed and quickness are impressive enough to earn him a Rivals four-star rating.
Lammons is expected to be an impact player for the Gators next year - and will be a force for the Colonels this year.
While Lammons is a solid verbal to Florida, he still plans on taking at least a couple of official visits "just to make sure my commitment stays solid."
