Fowler flips from FSU to Florida

Lakewood (St. Petersburg) Senior DE Dante Fowler Jr. was committed to Florida State for 14 months.

That ended this morning when Fowler signed with the University of Florida.
"I appreciate coach (Jimbo) Fisher and the Florida State coaching staff," Fowler told ESPNU. "But I feel like Florida was the best place for me."
Fowler felt that Florida's defensive scheme was a better fit for his talents.
Fowler had been listed as a 'solid verbal' by Florida State for months. Speculation about his possible flip circulated earlier in the week and became official this morning.
