FlaVarsity analysts have reviewed the players, the film and the accolades and compiled our own Post-season countdown of the top 50 players in the state of Florida for the class of 2014.
Our list may vary a bit from the Rivals list - and we can appreciate that - even though we're all on the same team. Our analysts have NFL and Major College experience and see things a little differently from time to time.
Lammons - originally a Florida commit, re-opened his recruiting process and has been gaining momentum towards another SEC school - South Carolina.
With speed to burn (4.41 40 time) and quick feet, Lammons made the most of his opportunities on both sides of the ball. He played defensive back/safety during the Army All-America Bowl and shined early.
He reads the routes of receivers very well and breaks on the ball very quickly. Look for him to focus on the defensive side of the ball in college, where he likely will become a free safety or cornerback. He very likely will be returning kicks and punts early - with that blistering speed.
