Our list may vary a bit from the Rivals list - and we can appreciate that - even though we're all on the same team. Our analysts have NFL and Major College experience and see things a little differently from time to time.
Michael O'Connor makes it on our list at No. 30 - even though he's rated higher in the Rivals250 - we put him at this spot based on impact. O'Connor had a good UnderArmour practice and game. His arm strength is very good, his accuracy is strong and he stands very well in the pocket. At 6-5 he's the prototypical pro-style QB. Reads defenses very well and is very good at taking what the defense gives. He stayed firm to his commitment to Penn State after Bill O'Brien left for the NFL. Working under former Heisman Trophy winner Chris Weinke helped O'Connor strengthen his game.
