FlaVarsity analysts have reviewed the players, the film and the accolades and compiled our own Post-season countdown of the top 50 players in the state of Florida for the class of 2014.
Our list may vary a bit from the Rivals list - and we can appreciate that - even though we're all on the same team. Our analysts have NFL and Major College experience and see things a little differently from time to time.
Harrell just missed the Rivals250 - as an athlete - which is saying something. He was a two-way star for Tampa Catholic, which was a state semi-finalist in Class 3A. Harrell played linebacker and running back for the 10-3 Crusaders and played it well. He has great lateral movement both offensively and defensively, and flies to the ball as a linebacker. He takes the handoff and hits the hole quickly as a running back, using his speed to get into the secondary quickly
He has been a three year starter at Tampa Catholic and was highly recruited - but has narrowed his list down to Louisville and Michigan State.
