FlaVarsity analysts have reviewed the players, the film and the accolades and compiled our own Post-season countdown of the top 50 players in the state of Florida for the class of 2014.
We've hit the Top 20 players - just in time for signing day. Throughout the day we'll profile the 20 players from Florida that have made the biggest impact.
While Scarbrough only played one season of high school football in Florida, he still went up against Florida teams - including one state champion and one state-runner up - and five other state playoff teams.
Scarbrough runs north-south - as evidenced by his highlight film. The defenses he faced (Trinity, Clearwater Central Catholic, Cardinal Newman) were equal competition and he performed well. Runs with authority and lowers the shoulder, often making defenders pay for getting in his way.
We rank him at No. 6 - only because of the fact that he was only here for a year. Call it limited sample size. He is a physical runner who will punish you. Now imagine Alabama with Derrick Henry and Bo Scarbrough.
He kind of reminds us of another Alabama native at running back named Bo... it's ok - you can open your eyes now.
