Panhandle playoff teams collide

PLAYERS TO WATCH:

WEST FLORIDA: QB Joey Baker, ATH Lawrence Lee, DE Nate Crawford, S Kenny Davis.

NORTHVIEW: S Neiko Robinson, LB Roderick Woods, QB Kevin Vaughan, RB LaMikal Kyles.

THE OUTLOOK: West Florida's Joey Baker has delivered on everything expected of him this season.

Baker has thrown for 2,512 yards and 24 TDs. That's just his passing. he's also rushed for 622 yards and 9 TDs, accounting for over 3,000 total yards of offense. His number one target is Lawrence Lee, who has 51 receptions for 1,011 yards and 11 TD receptions. The Jaguars have had the best statistical Offense in the panhandle.

Northview will be challenged by this fast break offense, but they also possess some weapons as well.

LaMikal Kyles has rushed for almost 700 yards and 10 rushing TDs, and defensively, Linebacker Roderick Woods and S Neiko Robinson are great playmakers that can change the momentum of the game in an instant.

Northview will have to come out of the gates quick to battle the depth and tempo of West Florida Tech.

Both teams have high playoff aspirations, so both will likely play it close to the vest. But the size differential of schools (and the depth) will take its toll on the Chiefs.
