Bartram Trail quarterback Nathan Peterman was really looking forward to seeing a different side of Florida State. In the past, he had visited Tallahassee to watch the Seminoles play, including the Florida State - Clemson game from this season, but was never able to sit down, talk to the coaches, and see everything that Florida State had to offer. This weekend, he was finally able to do that during Florida State's Junior Day.

"The trip to FSU was very informative. I got to see a lot more than I had seen in the past. I really liked the campus. It was really nice and I was able to talk to the coaches and players. I can really relate to them. They have a real family atmosphere, which is great to see."
Academics are very important to Peterman and he was able to see the great programs and facilities that would be available to him in Tallahassee.
"I am unsure what I want to major in, but the academic buildings were very nice. The campus was incredible. Everything is so nice and new. I could definitely see myself succeeding there."
Although he doesn't currently hold an offer from the Seminoles, after speaking with Coach Fisher and Coach Craig, he doesn't feel one is far away.
"I spoke with Coach Fisher for a little while and it was great to talk to him. I also spoke to Coach Craig. They really know what they are talking about when it comes to playing quarterback. I haven't been offered yet, but I was told they are currently evaluating everything at this time. From the conversation, I expect an offer to come relatively soon."
During the visit, Peterman was able to speak with current players and discuss how things are for them as student-athletes in the state capital.
"We had a great question and answer session with EJ Manuel, Jeff Luc, Xavier Rhodes and Lonnie Pryor. It was great talking to them, especially EJ. Rhodes and Luc spent some extra time talking to me after the session was done. Luc is huge. They were great to talk to."
After the Junior Day and getting to see more of Florida State, where do the Seminoles rank for his services?
"Right now, my leaders are Florida State, Florida, South Carolina, and Wake Forest. No leader at the moment, but they are all up there. I'll know more after my offers come in and after future visits. I had a good time though. I would rank my visit a 9 out of 10. It was really good."
