Raiders, Hurricanes on collision course

JACKSONVILLE - The Beef 'O' Brady's Top 25 still has the same top 5 teams, but the shifting has begun after cent first-round upsets.

Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas (5A) mains the overall #1 team, leading Bradenton Manatee (5A) by 12 points. Seffner Armwood (4A) and Cocoa (2A) a tied for third while Orlando Dr. Phillips (6A) mains fifth.

Palm Beach Gardens Dwyer (4A) is sixth followed by Pensacola (3A), Miami Central (6A), Tampa Jefferson (3A) and Jacksonville Bolles (2B).

Entering the Top 25 for the second time this season after a 27-24 playoff victory over pviously-ranked #10 Miami Columbus is Miami Northwestern. The Bulls dropped from the rankings after losing back-to-back games to Miami Central and Miami Columbus. They avenged that loss last Thursday and face off with Central this Friday. The Bulls -ented the poll at #23.

Also entering the rankings for the first time this season we Winter Haven (3A) at #22 and Orange Park Fleming Island (5A), tied at 24th with Miami Columbus.
