Raines hosts signing day for four

JACKSONVILLE- Raines High School had four players sign letters of intent this morning, including three star corner Lamont Simmons, who chose USC over Arkansas, Auburn, and Penn State.
"I visited a couple of weeks ago. It just felt like home." Simmons said of his January 24 official visit , "I was riding in the car with coach Hudson, he was telling me all the great facts and history at USC. I got the feeling that this is where I belong. This was home"
Lineman Travaris Dorsey signed with Florida, the three star OL weighs 314 and will add depth to the Gators line, which was injury plagued last season.
Quarterback Marvin Zanders, a three star dual threat, has been on campus at Missouri since New Year's day, but was celebrated with the class at the celebration in the Raines Auditorium, which came complete with cheerleaders, dancers, the bad and the entire junior class. He appeared via internet and gave an interview with a Missouri SID.
Running back Alex Gardner signed with Florida International, he was rated at two stars.
Troy Townsend, who holds a 4.4 GPA and is set to be the Salutatorian, signed with Southeastern.
