Sharks, Dogs battle for district crown

PLAYERS TO WATCH:

SOUTH FORK: QB Cody Labanowitz, RB Lorenzo Velasco, RB Marcus McClain, RB/DB Mike Harris.
SEBASTIAN RIVER: RB Nathaniel Pryor, DB Shelvick Henry, RB Octavia Jefferson, LB James Clark
THE OUTLOOK: For Sebastian River, the chance to win a district crown for the first time in the 19-year school history is huge. A chance to do it at Sharks Stadium - even bigger.
Last year these same two teams met for the district title and South Fork won 35-21. This year, the Bulldogs come in a little banged up from Monday's game with Olympic Heights. In fact, RB Lorenzo Velasco may not play - after hurting his knee Monday.
Sebastian River looks to run their ground game straight at the 'Dogs - with Pryor and Jefferson banging it out. Defensively, Clark will have to keep an eye on South Fork QB Cody Labanowitz and not let FB Mike Harris get free.
Both teams play smash-mouth football and grinding defense - so this game looks to be a low scoring affair. If Velasco can't go - it may be a long night for the 'Dogs.
Prediction: Sebastian River 17 South Fork 14
