Post-season countdown of the top 50 players in the state of Florida for the class of 2014.
If there were ever an example that high school athletes should follow when it comes to recruiting, early commitments and what to look for in a school, the path that Atlantic Coast DB Step Durham should be followed - to the letter.
Durham knew exactly what he was looking for in a school, and in a program - and found it with Georgia Tech. He committed early (June of 2013) and stayed true to it. He early enrolled at Tech and is taking in spring practice.
His size and speed is a factor, and he has a good frame. His footwork is strong and he sinks his hips in coverage and makes the right turns.
Durham was an impact player for the Stingrays. He's got great agility and can make cuts quickly and strong. His 4.59 shuttle time is impressive and his vertical leap of 38 inches makes him a prime candidate to play early for the Jackets.
